Data breach response

How Propello responds to data breaches

 

Propello has clear procedures in place to respond quickly and responsibly to any personal data breach.

 

If a breach occurs, Propello will:

 

  1. Escalate the incident internally to the appropriate team.

  2. Contain and assess the breach to understand its scope and impact.

  3. Notify the affected school or subscriber within 48 hours of confirmation.

  4. Mitigate risks by taking immediate corrective actions.

  5. Document the event fully for accountability and future prevention.

  6. Report to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) within 72 hours. 

 

💡 Transparency and speed are central to Propello’s breach response. Schools are always kept informed, and actions are taken quickly to reduce risks.
