If you'd like to see shorter sentences, or more familar words in a Propello reading assignment, you can change that! Here's how.
1. Starting from "Classes"
From the "Classes" home screen, you will click on your class. For this example, we'll use First Period Science.
2. Open an Activity
To open an activity, Click "Start" on the right. For this example, we will open "Plate Tectonics."

To Change the Reading (Text) Level
Sometimes, the reading might seem like it has some really long sentences, or a lot of words you may not know. When that happens, you can change it to make it easier to read. Click the "Reading" button at the top right corner.
By clicking "Essential", you will change the reading so that it has shorter sentences and more familiar words. Easy!
