How to fix common CSV upload problems in Propello

If your CSV won’t upload, try these quick checks:

 

  • Verify headers → Use the exact format: First Name, Last Name, Email, Year, Class.

  • Clean the file → Remove blank rows, extra spaces, hidden characters, and stray commas.

  • Check data types → Ensure emails are valid and year groups use your school’s standard format.

  • Save correctly → Export as .csv (UTF-8) rather than .xlsx or .numbers.
