What data do we collect?

What data Propello collects and why

 

The type of data Propello collects depends on whether you’re a teacher, staff member, or student. We only collect the minimum data needed to deliver the service effectively.

 

  • Teacher/Staff Data → Name, school, email address, subjects taught, role, and login details.

  • Student Data → Account setup information, class membership, assignment responses, and progress tracking (processed only on behalf of schools).

  • Usage Data → Anonymised analytics and technical information such as IP address (used for region and settings).

  • Integration Data → Information from trusted third-party platforms like Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, and Wonde to enable secure logins and class syncing.

 

💡 All data collected is used strictly to deliver and improve the Propello learning service. Student data is always controlled by the school, with Propello acting as the processor.

 

⚠️ Propello never sells data. Sharing only occurs with trusted providers under strict GDPR-compliant agreements.
